Our spa shells

All shells of Evolution Spas are made of Aristech Acrylic, this acrylic of American manufacture, is the best in its kind. Aristech is one of the largest suppliers of the world.

All shells of Evolution Spas are build up in different layers.  After mouding process the spa is getting produced with a specia vinyl ester layer. Afterwards strenghted with a polester layer. After finishing these layers the shell has become a self-supporting object. Transformation of the shape is impossible. The shell will be mounted in a frame of synthetic material or stainless steel, depending on the model. The frame and shell will be supported by the bottom-plate

Spa frame, the base of the shell

Our frame is made of synthetic material, impregnated wood or stainless steel, which means all-weather proof. The frames are rain-proof, heat-proof and cold-proof, but also protected against UV-light and sea-salt. The shells are self-supporting through which they don't need to be strengthened with a frame.

Spa skirt, bottom-plate

The skirt of the Evolution Spa is made of synthetic wood, a beautiful skirt without maintenance and especially weatherproof. The skirt is equipped with an insulated board with a heat reflectorized foil to keep all heat in the spa.
The insulation-value is very high; by weather with high temperatures, only the heat of the pumps will make sure that the temperature of the water will stay constant and high enough. In the summertime the circulationpump may not be setted on the 24-hours mode, because the spa will be overheated, and that only will cost you more money.

Our jets

All Evolution Spas are having the newest generation jets. Our motto “Always spin, Always stay in”, means that we only use patented “Axis” bearingless jets. These jets are self-cleaning and have a stainless steel needle for rotation. In contrast with jets with ball-bearing, our jets always rotate and that way no dirt will get in.
By less resistance our pumps use less power for the best massage. All jets in the Evolution Spas are screw-in-jets, we never use click-jets, these jets always stay in place, but you can screw them in or out manual. Our stainless steels jets are made of 316 steel. This steel is marine grade and won't be affected by chlorine or ozonee. Evolution Spas jets can be transformed into backlight. By making the body of the jet in clear synthetic material, it is possible to light up the jets with LED’s. With our SpaNet system they can be lighted up till 30 colours.

Pumps

Evolution Spas is only using SpaNet pumps. These pumps are equipped with an adjustable wet-end for maximum power. In other words, less curves means more power. Evolution Spas is never using 2-speed pumps, these pumps are cheaper in production, but are more expensive for the customer.

Filtration

Evolution Spas are having a unique filtering system. The 3zone® filtering guarantees the clearest water. How does it work: the water is filtered through a 1-micron filter (standard filters are filtering 50-60 micron), after this it will be disinfected through UV. Afterwards the water arrives in the special ozonemix-chamber. Here it will be mixed with ozonee. The 1-micron filter is disposable, which means no washing and rinsing anymore!
The special filterhousing makes sure that no dirt gets back into the water after the pump is turned-off. Also nog floating objects, like ducks.

SV Series Control + heating + display

Designed as the ultimate control for our premium range spas. The SV3-VH features a large 6kw Smart Variable Heater with Dynamic Thermal Tuning, a complete heat pump interface for cost effective heating and cooling of your spa, PowerSAVE technology for lower daily operating costs as well as a host of industry leading features and flexible configuration options.

Single, two and three phase ready. Power outlets are provided for circ pump, sanitiser, air blower, 3 x jet pumps and two dedicated 230V main outlets. Coupled with an attractive, simple to use touch pad with large, easy to read backlit display and buttons.

 
The SV4-VH is the ideal companion for our swim spa range, supporting up to 4 x jet pumps plus circ pump and air blower. The SV4-VH features a large 6kW Smart Variable Heater with Dynamic Thermal Tuning, a complete heat pump interface for cost effective heating and cooling of your spa water, and a host of flexible configuration options.

Eco Smart heat pump, for the most economical spa

How does it work?
Eco Smart heat pumps use electricity to drive a heat pump, which takes the energy in the surrounding air and transfers it into the water. The process is quiet similar to how a refrigerator or air conditioning unit operates, except the technology is used to keep your Evolution Spa hot and ready to use, at a fraction of the cost of a traditional spa pool heater.

Because Evolution Spas are fitted with the SpaNet ‘power save’ function, if you have Power Smart pricing in your home, you are able to utilise the shoulder and off peak rates to heat your spa. Coupled with the incredible efficiency of the Eco Smart system, you can enjoy savings of up to 65%!!
 

How is it fitted to the spa?
The Eco Smart heat pump system is a stand alone unit that is plumbed into the spa’s plumbing upon installation. The Eco Smart system ‘talks’ to the spa’s controller giving you seamless operation, whilst significantly reducing you running costs. The heat pump can be positioned to suit your location but must be installed with 3 metres of the spa on a solid, level surface. The heat pump draws it’s power via the spa’s control system.

Is there extra maintenance required?
No, the Eco Smart heat pump unit is designed to last the life time of the spa and no maintenance is required if the unit is kept free from debris.

* Running costs will vary depending on use, location and climate. Tests are based on maintaining an AquaExtreme spa at 36 degrees for 24 hours with an average air temperature of 22 degrees. Colder air temperatures may lead to larger savings.

Lightning

The lightning is produced by SpaNet. The lights are energy efficient LED lights. The SpaNet controller can get to 30 different colours, even white light, which is unique for RGB LEDs. All colours are adjustable even the brightness. Different modes can be set, as random, party, disco etc. Depending on the type mounted in the shell; along the waterline or jet lightning.

Aromatherapy

The Evolution Spa is having an easy, but highly effective aromatherapy; LastingScents®.
This aromatherapy can be set on or off and the intensity of the scent can be chosen. LastingScents are available in nine different scents.

Headrests

Each spa is equipped with headrests. In the newest spas these are made of EVA, strong foam which is resistant to chlorine and chemicals. In the AquaExtreme and the AquaRealx spas the head rests are even adjustable in height. EVA headrests can not absorb water. Our goal is to replace all headrests in the Evolution Spas for EVA during 2010.

Cover and coverlift

The rcover of Evolution Spas is provided with firm polystyrene filling for optimal insulation. All covers are equipped with a safety-lock. The coverlift will be standard deliverd with the cover. The coverlift can be assembled to each spa.
